Rock’n Our Disabilities Foundation Earns Senate District 21 Non-Profit of the Year Recognition

Today, Senator Scott Wilk (R-Santa Clarita) recognized Dana Hernandez, founder and Chief Executive Officer of Rock’n our Disabilities Foundation (RODF) as the Cal Non-profit of the Year for the 21st Senate District. Based in Hesperia, the mission of RODF is to offer social, educational, and mentoring programs for children with disabilities.

The honoree joined Senator Wilk in Sacramento for a special celebration today highlighting the amazing work of 109 other non-profit organizations and the communities they serve throughout California.

“One phrase describes Dana Hernandez – ‘rock star.' Her journey began with a passion for volunteering in Victor Valley to help families and youngsters. Over the years, that love for her community was channeled into a non-profit that has served countless individuals and their loved ones.

It is my pleasure to recognize Dana and Rock’n our Disabilities Foundation as the 21st Senate District Non-Profit of the Year. Congratulations to you!”
