Wilk honors Advanced Audiology as August Small Business of the Month

Senator Scott Wilk, R-Santa Clarita, honored Advanced Audiology as the 21st Senate District Small Business of the Month for August. Wilk presented the award to audiologist, philanthropist, and founder of Advanced Audiology, Nola Aronson.

“When people say small businesses are the backbone of our communities, think Advanced Audiology,” said Wilk. “Nola is a former special education teacher and is first in line to help kids whether it is donating money or books to the local Boys & Girls Club, ten percent of her proceeds to local non-profits or supporting the Walk to End Alzheimer’s. She is a rock star in our area.”

With nearly four decades of audiology experience, Aronson has not only helped the people of Santa Clarita overcome hearing loss, she has a long history of community support in the region. She recently made a generous donation of books to the local Boys & Girls club in addition to presenting a $2,500 check at the clubs 46th annual benefit auction.

“Thank you to Senator Wilk for this great honor. I work with a great team of people who support our causes,” said Aronson. “We love the community of Santa Clarita and believe it is so important to help organizations that do so much for our friends and neighbors.”

Aronson was also a sponsor for both the 2017 Walk to End Alzheimer’s and the Circle of Hope Afternoon Tea, A 17-year breast cancer survivor herself she applauds organizations like Circle of Hope for helping people like her who have battled cancer. 

Advanced Audiology is the largest diagnostic hearing center in the Santa Clarita Valley, and has been assisting residents of the region since 2010.

“The contributions Aronson has made to the Santa Clarita Valley cannot be overstated,” said Wilk. “Her philanthropy combined with decades of assisting people regain their hearing serve as an example of the impact small business can have on our local communities. Nola has made the Santa Clarita Valley a happier healthier place, and for that we thank you.”
