Wilk's water district measure clears Assembly Water, Parks and Wildlife

SACRAMENTO – Senator Scott Wilk, R-Antelope Valley announces Senate Bill 634, a measure to create a new water district in the Santa Clarita Valley continues to move through the Assembly. Today it cleared the Assembly Committee on Water, Parks and Wildlife.

“I am pleased to report we have been given the green light by each of the legislative policy committees overseeing these types of issues. SB 634’s next stop will be Assembly Appropriations Committee,” said Wilk. “This bill will put an end to the ‘water wars’ and will create a modern, transparent and accountable water agency in the Santa Clarita Valley. It’s a good feeling.”
