SACRAMENTO – Assembly Speaker John A. Pйrez has appointed Assemblyman Scott Wilk to serve on the following select committees: Biotechnology; Community Colleges; Addressing Out of School, Unemployed Youth; Status of Boys and Men of Color in California; and Youth and California's Future.
“It is an honor to have been asked to sit on these select committees that effect California's youth, community colleges and our biotech industry,” said Assemblyman Wilk. “I am committed to working with legislators on both sides of the aisle to find common sense solutions to the problems we face.”
In addition to serving on these select committees, Assemblyman Wilk sits on the Assembly Health, Higher Education, Business and Professions, and Arts and Entertainment committees. He also serves as the Vice Chair of the Assembly Rules Committee
