Assemblyman Wilk Selects Small Business Honoree

SACRAMENTO – Assemblyman Scott Wilk, R-Santa Clarita, has selected Chris Fall of Lighting Efficiency, and Design, Inc, (L.E.D. Inc.) to represent the 38th Assembly District as “Small Business of the Year” for the 38th Assembly District during the California Small Business Day Ceremony in Sacramento.

In April of 2010, Chris Fall and Ryan Murphy opened L.E.D. Inc., a company which provides businesses with more efficient, better quality lighting products, such as LED's that consume less kilowatts, save money, all while reducing the overall Carbon Footprint.

“It gives me great pleasure to select Lighting, Efficiency, and Design Inc. to participate in California's 'Salute to Small Business ,'” said Wilk. Wilk continued, “Energy efficiency is one of the five pillars of California's energy policy and we all benefit from entrepreneurs such as Chris Fall who create jobs and also reduce our carbon footprint by bringing green technologies to the market.”

L.E.D Inc. is a strong supporter of the local community and non-profit organizations Including the YMCA, Santa Clarita Valley Education Foundation, College of the Canyons Foundation and the Santa Clarita Valley Boys & Girls Club. Chris Fall is currently chair of the City of Santa Clarita Parks Commission and was recently selected to fill a vacant seat on the William S. Hart Union High School District governing board.
