Wilk Named 'Legislator of the Year' by California Podiatric Medical Association

SACRAMENTO –Today Assemblyman Scott Wilk, R-Santa Clarita, received the “Legislator of the Year” award by the California Podiatric Medical Association.

Scott Wilk was nominated for the 2014 Patient Advocate Award as a result of his support of the healing art of podiatric medicine and its important role in keeping Californians healthy, active and productive.

“I was honored to accept CPMA's Legislator of the Year Award” Wilk said. “This organization has done great work in the community and I'm looking forward to continue working with the California Podiatric Medical Association to promote the importance of public health.”

CPMA is as non-profit association dedicated to promoting public health and serving its member doctors through a comprehensive program of educational, economic, public policy, legislative, legal, and regulatory advocacy. CPMA promotes the health of the public, the profession and the individuals its serves.
