Wilk Receives 100% Rating from California Chamber of Commerce

SACRAMENTO – For the second year in a row Assemblyman Scott Wilk, R-Santa Clarita, received a perfect score from CalChamber.

Each year, CalChamber produces a list of job creator and job killer bills in policy areas such as environmental regulations, health care costs, labor costs, litigation costs, taxes, water supply and reliability. Members get a point for voting in accord with the Chamber and lose a point for voting against.

The scorecard bills and votes reflect legislator attitudes towards private enterprise, fiscal responsibility and business climate.

“This last legislative session was a missed opportunity to grow the economy. While we did pass a film tax credit and aerospace tax credit, we should have done more.  We failed to address CEQA reform, the rising costs of workers compensation or tort reform,” Wilk said. “I'm committed to fight for small businesses which employ two out of every three workers.”
