Sen. Scott Wilk (R-Santa Clarita) is pleased to recognize Linda, Moe, and Alex Hafizi, owners of Santa Clarita Magazine and élite Magazine, as Santa Clarita Valley’s Small Business of the Month for the month of December.
“A passionate supporter of local causes, nonprofits, and small businesses, the Hafizi family and their publications have been the beating heart of Santa Clarita for decades,” said Senator Wilk. “Deeply rooted in the community since the city’s inception, they have always been on the pulse of the people, places, and events that make this valley such a wonderful place to live and work. It is an absolute pleasure to recognize their accomplishments and thank them for their tireless dedication. Congratulations!”
Moe and Linda Hafizi started Santa Clarita Magazine, affectionately known as the “Bible” for the Santa Clarita Valley, in 1990 and since then it has been the gold-standard monthly publication for advertising within the valley.
Santa Clarita Magazine supports local non-profit organizations through extensive editorial coverage, event participation, and substantial donations. Their work with various groups created landmark events such as the Ladies in Business Conference, SCV Leadership Awards in partnership with esteemed organizations, and the SCV Dancing with Our Stars event which has raised over $1,700,000 since 2009.
The Hafizi’s second publication, élite Magazine, is a bi-monthly spotlight of the finer aspects of life in the Santa Clarita Valley. The style magazine features compelling editorial content encompassing culture, entertainment, lifestyle, fashion, and exemplary personalities from the community.
